It’s been a while since I blogged or got in touch with this little beautiful piece of web-ware called WordPress, but I thought I’d finally put down some words in here about how things are rolling, not that any one would care, but just for heck of it.

I’ve been adding quite some objects to my room, life and otherwise lately, I enjoy some sort of things depending on it’s nature, attention and presentation go side by side, that’s one reason I got mohawk, the other being, that I always wanted one, I knew it would raise eyebrows, and it certainly does. Just the other day I was out and this group of photographers asked me if they could photograph me, now I wouldn’t mind, would I then yesterday I was having dinner with friends, and this Indian family right behind me, their youngest kid, screams “Didi apne peechay dekho” not realizing I understood what he just said, the nest thing that he said is “Oh Shoot!”

And since we’re talking about the Mohawk, just a little note, the mohawk in length has been shorted, but has grown in height

Now about the additions, I recently bought a Guy Fawkes Mask, for those who don’t know what that is, it’s the mask the lead character wears in the movie “V for Vendetta”, yes I bought the mask since I enjoyed the movie quite. I guess some movies have more impact on it’s viewers than the others.

Then I have a lava lamp, which is something I wanted for quite a while, but just got my hands on recently, and it’s one of the most awesome things in my room.

A cheap printer was also added, since I like to print out certain stuff, and I shouldn’t worry where to run for that..

And just very recently I added quite some other random stuff but the one to mention is a Post it board, I m making it work more like a soft board, I wanted to get a soft board but couldn’t get it, so I m going to make do with this instead and it’s not bad really.

And last Friday I got my hands on my iPhone which I had been trying to get for a month, finally did.. cheers and man I m enjoying the applications available, so far I haven’t jail broken it, maybe I might, and maybe not.

I hope Singtel doesn’t screw up things for me though

I recently bought a Kodak Zx1, and very recently bought 2 lenses online from usb fever, just received them yesterday, and I’ve been playing with them since, these are awesome seriously. Order them at will and your pictures will be much better

Here are some of the pictures I took with the lenses on, actually these are macros I’ll put up some wide angle shots soon, and I think I m going to order some more lenses

I follow some good number of folks on flickr, and some of these people are truely gifted, as in super gifted. I’d like to show the images from some of these folks today. These are marvellous, and fairly recent.

It’s another week end already !

I am seriously enjoying doing these photo tone mapping, makes the pics I took, look really cool, or so I think

That’s Omair in the picture, he’s a designer plus a photographer, and he works at the same place I do, Creative Chaos.

Any how, other than that, I was recently having some problems with the tags on this blog, see those red boxed above the posts, those ! So Asim Imtiaz, at my work place, who’s a kick ass php developer, helped me out with that, sorted it out, he rocks man !

Also, the weekend just started and I’ve watched 3 movies already, and I m working on my new website layout, wish me luck

I had been on a photo trip to Hingol National Wild life park, Baluchistan, last Sunday, It has been one of the best experiences of my life so far, the people, the environment, the nature were all so splendid. beautiful, and I could probably use countless other pretty words to describe it, but you get the idea…

Since I had no camera of my own, I switched to cameras that belonged to Omair and Muzammil, and these people being their gracious selves, allowed me to snap away as much as I wanted. I have nice friends I know

Below are a couple of pictures that I took, if you want to see more, you could visit the flickr group I went with, Karachi Photographers club.

I had fun, and it was intense, with dangerous turns and awesome locations, it was worth every penny I spent. cheers to the folks who arranged it.

After a very long time, I actually enjoyed the weekend. I mean really really enjoyed it !

I went to Lifestyles ’08 at Expo Centre Karachi with Omair, and boy was there a crowd…

First things first, we actually went there for the dog show, since I didn’t have my own cam, I borrowed Omair’s camera from time to time. I also met some other photographers there, whom I didn’t know before. It was fun hanging around with these folks.

Also since we didn’t have a proper invite to enter the halls, we used the cheat sense to get inside. Boy Khi ppl are friggen clever

Any how, we didn’t find much interest inside, so we dragged our sorry rare-side bottoms back outside in the blazing hot sun !

Tell you the truth, that was a better idea to see some dog action and otherwise, we did enjoy some folk music there, with some folks dance and stuff…

I m waiting for the pictures, as soon as I collect them from Omair, I’ll post them online too

This is bad, I just lost another fake eye ! Now when did I have a fake eye… I had a camera you dumb people

Yes sadly I lost my camera yesterday on my way home, some (insert offensive words here) stole it… (insert offensive words here)

It’s time I start saving for a camera now ! Will have to, I like photography, but now I lack the tool. DAMN !

Let’s hope I get enough money for that.

On the other hand, this Album ‘Favourite Worst Nightmare’ from Arctic Monkeys is awesome.
